Equisolve, a leading provider of corporate and investor relations websites for publicly traded companies, is seeking a talented, motivated senior full-stack developer to join our internal product team. You will be responsible for improving our proprietary CMS platform through bug fixes, features, and test coverage, as well as architecting custom features and API integrations into client websites. This role requires strong skills in server-side development with a focus in Ruby on Rails and related test-driven development (preferably RSpec); strong JavaScript and/or PHP chops are a major plus.

We welcome telecommuters and are 100% set up for remote work. You do need to be mostly available in the US Eastern time zone and legally able to work in the US.

Requirements

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize changes to the system
Take the lead on architecting and building complex features into our core applications
Mentor other engineers and conduct code reviews
Help assess risks and provide mitigations related to changes to our applications
Senior software developer in a web-based environment (5+ years)
Accomplished in Ruby on Rails, proficient in Javascript
Writer of clean, readable, and maintainable code and tests (specifically using test-driven development in Ruby on Rails using RSpec and related tools)
Experience integrating with third-party APIs
Understanding of relational data modeling
Adept at turning designs and specs into working code
Familiar with agile development methodologies, continuous integration, and git
Good understanding of UX issues and the ability to think through an interface from the stakeholder's perspective
Urgency, initiative, integrity, strong communication and problem-solving skills
Experience working on an internal product (an application or CMS) is a plus, along with PHP experience
