Full Stack Rails Developer

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Ruby Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Ruby programming and be experienced in both front-end and back-end development. You'll be responsible for developing high-quality applications and solutions, working collaboratively with our team to innovate and improve our services. 

●  Develop and maintain web applications using Ruby and other relevant technologies. 

●  Collaborate with front-end devs to integrate user-facing elements with server logic. 

●  Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. 

●  Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs. 

●  Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization. 

●  Participate in code reviews and contribute to team discussions on best practices. 

Qualifications: 

●  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 

●  Strong experience with Ruby, Rails and a good understanding of its ecosystems. 

●  Familiarity with front-end languages and frameworks (e.g.,JavaScript, HTML5, CSS). 

●  Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git. 

●  Experience with databaset echnology such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB. 

●  Knowledge of server-side templating languages. 

●  Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application. 

●  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

●  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

● Position is hybrid. 2x/year all company retreats. Monthly dev/product in person meetings. 

Currently the full Dev team resides in Chicago. We're open to remote but some travel will be necessary for the monthly meetings. Flight & hotel will be paid for.
