We’re looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer with expertise in Ruby on Rails (API) and React (Web or React Native) to develop a Group Spaces feature in our existing platform. This feature will allow users to join and interact in community-based groups (e.g., "Basketball Players in Atlanta" or "Princeton Alumni").
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
✅ Backend Development (Rails API)
- Design and implement Group, GroupMembership, GroupPost, and GroupComment models.
- Build RESTful API endpoints for group creation, joining, posting, and commenting.
- Implement role-based permissions (admins can moderate, members can post).
- Store media (images/videos)
- Ensure scalability and performance optimization.
✅ Frontend Development (React or React Native)
- Develop UI components for Group Directory, Group Details, and Group Feed.
- Implement infinite scrolling for group feeds.
- Create post creation UI (text, image, video support).
- Integrate API calls
🎯 Ideal Candidate
🔹 2+ years experience with Ruby on Rails (API development).
🔹 2+ years experience with React or React Native.
