We are looking for an experienced Product Developer (Rails) to join our dynamic team at Homeflow. As a Product Developer, you will be involved in the ideation, design, development, and enhancement of our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including designers, developers, and project managers to bring new features to life, ensuring they meet the needs of our users and contribute to the company's strategic goals. Homeflow is a fully remote company, but some travel may be required for team meetings.

Typical job tasks include πŸš€

  • Design, develop and maintain new features and improvements for our product suites with a strong focus on delivering high-quality, user-friendly solutions
  • Work closely with the product team, designers and other developers to define product requirements and development tasks
  • Write clean, scalable and efficient code with a focus on performance, security and maintainability
  • Contribute to product roadmaps by providing insights into technical feasibility, user experience and overall product direction

We’re looking for someone who has 🌟

  • At least 2 years of experience building SaaS (Software as a Service) products (but less experience may be accepted if you’ve worked or interned at a venture-backed startup)
  • At least 2 years of commercial or personal Ruby on Rails experience, ideally with Rails 6 (or even better if Rails 7)
  • A strong understanding of UX & UI and an ability to collaborate with designers to create intuitive, accessible and engaging products and features
  • Experience working in Agile teams and familiarity with tools like Trello, Jira, Confluence, Slack, Figma, Rubocop, Brakeman, and SolarWinds Observability
  • Is fluent in English and can communicate effectively orally and in writing, ensuring Seno stakeholder misunderstandings
  • Most importantly, understand the importance of speed and can manage your time and priorities in a way that gets things done
