- Adavico is an endowment and stewardship technology company that produces purpose-built software to enable non-profit organizations to simplify endowment accounting, enhance stewardship reporting, and improve student awarding. We are currently hiring Ruby on Rails programmers for our growing software development team.
You will be adding new features to products within our three solution areas, as well as some refactoring of existing code.
Who we are looking for:
- You prefer working for a small organization, rather than a large company. You’d rather write code than sit through meeting after meeting.
- You work efficiently remotely, and manage your work without a lot of direction from above. You set goals and execute.
- You have 5+ years of software development experience, with 3+ years focusing specifically on Ruby on Rails.
- You are comfortable with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, even if you don’t consider yourself a front-end designer. Joining tables doesn’t scare you. You’re eager to work with Hotwire and Stimulus.
- Your code is clean, understandable, and well-tested.
- You play well with others. You collaborate and help other programmers without being smug and condescending.
- You must be currently based in the US or UK. We do not offer visa support.
