Why Frame
At Frame, we believe that compliance and payments are the same problem. The compliance burden is the product. And we're building the infrastructure layer that makes it invisible. We've built frameOS: a unified operating system that embeds compliance and financial services into a single platform.
At Frame, how we build is as important as what we build. We care deeply about quality, detail, and craft. Whether that is in code, in systems, in decisions. We call it The Discerning Eye. It's not decoration. It's a standard.
The Role
We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build across the stack. Merchant onboarding, compliance workflows, payment processing, developer-facing APIs, and internal tooling. You'll work primarily in Rails, Go, and TypeScript, touching everything from backend services to frontend components.
The surface area is wide. The problems are deep. You'll work across engineering, risk, compliance, and product on systems where correctness is non-negotiable and the edge cases are the product.

What Sets You Apart
How We Build
Great engineers at Frame don't wait for permission. They have a low tolerance for artificial delays. When something is blocked, they find a way around it. What they don't do is quietly absorb other people's misses. Consequences are feedback. People don't get better without them.
Speed without taste is just noise. Shipping something that just works is no longer a differentiator, everyone can do that, especially now with AI. The bar has moved. What separates good infrastructure from great infrastructure is taste. The system that feels inevitable. The API that clicks on first read. That comes from engineers who study great work, think deeply about why something feels right, and practice until they can produce it themselves.
We want both. Move before it's perfect, and care enough that it's still good.
The Practical Stuff
Life at Frame
We want Frame engineers to do the best work of their careers. You’ll own things at Frame that you wouldn't get to touch anywhere else. You'll ship things that have real impact.
If that sounds like the place you want to build, we'd like to talk.
