The Role

We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build across the stack. Merchant onboarding, compliance workflows, payment processing, developer-facing APIs, and internal tooling. You'll work primarily in Rails, Go, and TypeScript, touching everything from backend services to frontend components.

The surface area is wide. The problems are deep. You'll work across engineering, risk, compliance, and product on systems where correctness is non-negotiable and the edge cases are the product.

What You'll Build

• Core frameOS platform features: merchant onboarding flows, capabilities and requirements systems, KYC/KYB pipelines, and compliance workflows
• Payment infrastructure: direct network and card scheme integrations, tokenization, ACH and card processing, payout logic
• Frame.js: our TypeScript SDK and web component library used by merchants to embed compliance-aware payment flows
• Internal operations tooling: dashboards, case management, and workflow automation that make our team fast and precise
• Developer-facing APIs and documentation
• AI-powered pipelines: adverse media classification, underwriting automation, document processing

Essential

• 4+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong Ruby, Ruby on Rails and TypeScript Experience or comparable framework and language Experience
• Experience building platform infrastructure where reliability and correctness matter
• An instinct for clean abstractions: APIs that are obvious on first read, systems that feel inevitable once you understand them
• Low tolerance for fake blockers: You move when things are unclear, find another path when a dependency slips, and ship to learn rather than waiting for perfect

What Sets You Apart

• Fintech, payments, or regulated infrastructure background (card networks, ACH, processors, tokenization, chargebacks)
• Experience with compliance or KYC/KYB systems
• You've built developer-facing APIs or SDKs that other teams liked using and would recommend
• Experience with AI/ML pipelines (classification, document processing, automation)
• Go experience
